Every recommendation is an editorial decision, made before any commercial consideration. We research the category, compare the credible options, and select on quality, design, longevity and value — in that order. Taste is stated as fact because it has been earned by the work behind it.

Commission rates never rank a product. Merchants cannot pay for placement, and no brand sees a guide before publication. Where we use affiliate links, the product was chosen first and the link attached second — never the reverse. If the best choice in a category offers us nothing, it is still the best choice, and it still leads.

We do not display prices: they move daily and stale numbers mislead. We link you to the merchant, where the current price is always the honest one.
